We spent two days (and about £800) having moss removed from the lawns and the roof. Here's Lee the roof washer after hours of pressure washing the tiles. I think he underestimated the extent of the job. At least now we know what colour tiles we're matching to, though the lawn's still full of moss as far as we can tell.
Woah! Pressure washing the moss off those roof tiles looks fun, if not dangerous. Doesn’t Lee have any harness? The roof’s look definitely improved, and it will certainly have a longer life service now that the added weight to the roof is gone. :D

One of the ways to maintain the good condition of your roof is by keeping it clean – free from dirt, moss, etc. Allowing dirt to accumulate is risky for your roof. Anyway, keeping your roof clean will prevent major damages that can cost you a lot of money in repairs. Also, it’ll guarantee that your your house stays beautiful too.

At first look, I thought you’re having your roof repainted, and then I read what you wrote down and, huh? Those are moss? My friend in the northeast has the same problem and she only wishes those mosses could be clean and treated, and won’t ever grow back.
